Frizington Nursery School was inspected in a short inspection by Ofsted in October 2016.
The inspector said that "Frizington Nursery School is a lovely, calm place for children to learn and play. Children are delightful and well-behaved. It is clear to see that friendships are being formed as children play cooperatively, share and take turns. During my time at your school, I observed children who were happy, confident and independent."
In addition we were proud the inspectors agreed that "behaviour throughout the school is outstanding. Children quickly develop friendships and obviously enjoy school. They have extremely good attitudes to learning; this can seen in their interest and excitement when approaching activities."
The inspector also noted that: " From their different starting points all groups of pupils, including the most able and those who have special educational needs and/or disabilities, make strong gains in their learning."
"Learning at your school is meaningful, fun and reflects your school motto to ‘open children’s minds to many possibilities that empower each and every child to flourish and grow in all aspects of their life’. During my walk around the school I observed children who were inquisitive and keen to learn."
